According to the actual conditions of the coal resources management in China and in combined with the development tendency of the present computer technology and the network technology in China,the paper analyzed the advantages of the management information system applied in the field of the coal resources management base on the B/S structure.The paper explained the main business logic of the coal resources management and detail stated the work flow design and functional module design of the coal resources management information system.Finally,the paper provided the general design idea and solution of the system.
