Application of RFID Technology in Monitoring System of Hazardous Material Logistics

In view of the reality that hazardous material logistics monitoring is still in its infancy in China and is mainly effected through monitor ng the status of transport vehicles using GPS and GIS while the condition of the hazardous materials is largely in the dark,the paper proposes a RFID-based monitoring system capable of collecting and submitting information on the condition of the hazardous materials while tracking the transport vehicle.
