Reverse-link predictive power control in CDMA system

In accordance with the structural characteristics of the CDMA reverse power control command frame,a CDA reverse-link predictive power control algorithm has been proposed to predict the fading to be experienced in the next received signal and then form a power control command to compensate the expected fading effect in advance.Simulation results show that ,in comparison with other power control schemes,the predictive power control scheme can be used to efficiently reduce the variance of received power at the base station thereby improving the capacity of CDMA system.
