The foundation of grammar analysis is semantics, however, to understand semantics always is with subjectivity, even has many different ideas. The restrictive factor is frequency in language use, for which is the reflection of objective facts, can be measured, has scientific characterisics and can be manageable. From different aspects, this paper gives examples to argue how to use frequency in language use to restrict semantics and grammar.
