Web-based Thematic Cartography

The web methods and related database technologies under the environment of web epoch used to access thematic database via web through Visual C++6.0 have been presented. It has concluded that appropriate web methods should be used to develop HTTP server programs and client programs after the system's web model has been done, and the database should be operated by way of ADO data accessing so that to get the required cartographic data to meet the needs of thematic cartography.
