Dendrimers application in drug fields

Dendrimers are a group of highly ordered, three-dimensional, treelike functional polymers. Dendrimers are monodisperse macromolecules and they have well-defined structure,controlled surface functionality and size.Dendrimer size increases linearly and the number of surface functional groups increases exponentially with generation number. So functionalization of dendrimers attracts scientists' interest. And the using of them as drug carriers is one of the focuses of current research. In this review we just summarize their uses in drug research field.
