Comparisons of iris recognition algorithms

Some methods of the iris feature extraction,which are based on wavelet transform,discrete cosine transform(DCT),independent component analysis(ICA),are simply comparatively studied,and the background and technique point are introduced.An improved method based on discrete cosine transform is presented,which can give reference for iris recognition algorithm selection.
