A review of independent component analysis
Nan Zhang · Ship Science and Technology · 2007
The Independent Component Analysis is the technique of signal processing for separating independent source signals from a mixed signal. Firstly, the paper briefly reviews the relationships and differences among ICA, Blind Signal Separation and Principal Component Analysis. Then the basic concept and the data model of ICA are described in detail, and its current popular algorithms are also analyzed and summarized. Finally, the future of its development and applications is indicated.
