Design of Multiple Kind Radar Pulse Signal Simulator Based on DSP and FPGA

A multiple kind radar pulse signal simulator based on PC+DSP+FPGA system is introduced in this paper.This simulator can simulate interleaved pulse signals of 1~4 kinds of radars,including PRF jittering radar,PRF staggering radar,PRF staggering jittering radar and frequency agility radar,etc.It also provides output of carrier frequency code correspondingly.The number and parameters of radars can be set in the control software on the PC.Therefore,this system has the advantages of flexibility and universalness.This system can provide realistic radar test signals for debugging secondary data processing subsystem when the electronic warfare equipment is not possessed of microwave subsystem.
