Fuzzy evaluation approach to missile defense effectiveness based on layered weight coefficients

In allusion to the typical attack and defense course of ballistic missile,the main defense-influenced factors of defense weapons were analyzed,as well as the multi-hierarchy attributes of defense effectiveness were established.The idea that the weight coefficients could be obtained based on layered weights was put forward,and a fuzzy optimization algorithm to determine weights was provided.Thus,the fuzzy evaluation model of missile defense effectiveness was established.An application case was provided, and the results illuminated the approach was effective to evaluate combat effectiveness of missile defense system.
