Fuzzy Morphology with Its Properties and Application

Mathematical morphology is associated with order statistics in the view of fuzzy set theory and fuzzy morphology is founded.We introduce the concept of percentile operation of fuzzy sets,demonstrate a series of algebrical,geometrical and statistical properties of the percentile operation,and prove the identical relationship between percentile operation and order filtering for discrete fuzzy sets.One of the applications of fuzzy morphology is briefly illustrated.
