Removal of Blink Artifact in EEG Recording Based on FastICA and Correlation Analysis

Blink artifact is a kind of normal noise during recording EEG signals and has strongly influence on the exaction of useful information for EEG.In this paper,FastICA was applied to separate the independent components and correlation analysis was employed to identify the blink artifact.Combining these two algorithms,blink artifact can be removed automatically.The results of practical experiments suggest this method can identify and remove the blink artifact efficiently,and indicate prosperous applications in EEG signal processing with the proposed method.
