3D face modeling is currently one of the most important issues in computer vision and computer graphics.The research background and present situation of the 3D face modeling firstly is analyzed;Then the advantages and disadvantages of recent algorithms used frequently are given;Finally,some detailed discussions on research topics and future direction on 3D face modeling are provided.
