Aiming at the problem that wireless Ad Hoc networks can not provide any priority scheme, this paper proposes a proved mechanism based on 802.11DCF back-off algorithm. The new mechanism,by reducing the retransmission number of high-priority data flows at the data link layer, can make high-priority data flow(such as Real-time data flow) access channel more easily, the high-priority data flow can obtain more bandwidth, and the average end-to-end delay is reduced as well. Analysis results show that the new algorithm can improve the transmission performance of data flows in high priority significantly.
