Tree-based efficient management model on database backups

For the improvement of resource management on database backups,a backup-chain-based database backup management model is presented.In the model,the backups are organized into forest data structure according to their internal dependencies,enhancing the management ability of backup system on database backups and making the effective plans for the merging and deletion of historical backups.The experiment proves that,as the requirement of a full database backup after database recovery is eliminated and more flexible deleting policy is achieved,the backup window is shrink and the risk time period after database recovery is reduced,the utilization ratio on disk space is considerably improved,and the system resource requirement of data backup center is effectively reduced.
