Objective:To compare the imnumotoxicity of the fuel exhausts of pure methanol and gasoline. Methods:Activated pulmonary alveolar macrophage(PAM)was obtained from the rabbit lung and was cultured in vitro,Fc receptor formation rate,ADCC and anti-tuber cytotoxicity were tested for the two types of fuel exhausts at different concentration respectively. Results:The Fc receptor fomation rate and anti-tuber cyto toxicity were inhibited by fuel exhausts of pure methanol and gasoline. But the inhibition effect of methanol was weaker than that of gasoline. The exhausts of gasoline had inhibition effect on ADCC,but methanol had not. Conclusion:The results show that the immunotoxicity of the pure methanol exhaust is lower than that of the gasoline.
