Fast H.264 Intra-Prediction Mode Selection
Hongxia Ge · Microcomputer Information · 2010
A fast H.264 Intra prediction mode selection scheme based on transform domain feature is proposed in this work. The proposed method effectively filter out the majority of candidate modes in intra coding. It is demonstrated by experimental results that the proposed algorithm can speed up the coding module with little quality degradation.
