σ-finite and semimoderate variational measures

A characterization of σ -finite variational measures of Thomson’s type in ℝ m is obtained. It is shown that the notions of σ -finite and semimoderate measures coincide for variational measures constructed from continuous functions of an interval with respect to a complete basis in ℝ m .
