Research on Tunnel Collapse Probability Calculation Method Based on Extensible Comprehensive Evaluation Model

Shi Huil · Safety and Environmental Engineering · 2015

Collapse is one of the typical common accidents during the construction of tunnels.By fully studying the extenics theory, risk environment that collapse occurred in and characteristics of the risk factors, this paper selects six evaluating indicators, such as rock hard, rock integrality, ground flow, tunnel burying depth, tunnel unsymmetrical pressure and the effect of construction. Then the paper establishes the matter element model of tunnel collapse evaluation based on matter element model theory and proposes the analytic hierarchy process method to calculate evaluating factors. The paper evaluates the tunnel face of the left hole of Shanxi tunnel by calculating the association degree of the actual tunnel collapse probability grades. The collapse probability of the tunnel face is the highest(j0=4)and the conclusion is consistent with the facts. The results show that extensible comprehensive evaluation model is a kind of practical calculation method which can effectively calculate the tunnel collapse probability level. The method not only has certain guiding significance to the prediction of collapse, but also provides a new train of thought for future tunnel collapse evaluation.
