The design and application of the dynamic monitoring and network information issuing system for the water quality in the reservoir area of Three Gorges

Starting from actual demand of dynamic monitoring of water environment of the reservoir area of Three Gorges,this paper introduces the concept of WebGIS and designs the basic framework of dynamic information issuing system of network for water environment monitoring of reservoir area of Three Gorges.It analyses the ArcIMS of WebGIS platform in this system and accomplishes the background updating mechanism of the environmental data of water.
