Analysis of the DDS Output Spurs and Reduction Technique

Main sources of DDS output spurs are presented in this paper.For the truncation of accumulator phase word output,DDS output error is analyzed.Appropriate random sequence is added to the truncated phase sequence.As a result,some large discrete spurs caused by periodic error sequence is converted to average noise.To a certain extent,DDS output spectrum is improved.
