The Design of the Second Development of Network Topology Based on VB and MapX

The second development model in geographic information systems is proposed based on component-based MapX and VB technology for the application of electronic map in network management.By MapX technology,a whole network topology can be formed,in which different types of network equipments and links can be directly and easily managed by users.This network topology is closer to the real network,and the interface is more friendly.Combining with the other models in the network management software,the monitor operation of the whole network,the allocation of resources management,the location analysis and the report alarms etc.can be realiz.In addition,it can provide the network optimization and management with important reference,and reduce the cost of operation.
