The Research of the Behavior Measurement of a TCP/IP Networks with Satellite Chain

Internet has been widely applied to the communication of multimedia information. However, TCP/IP does not guarantee the quality of the wide band business which requires high real time of communication. Especially on the satellite chain, the wide band business communicated via TCP/IP is restricted by the bottleneck of the delay-bandwidth product, thus it does not well applied to for a long period. This paper aims at special appliance of certain TCP/IP networks, builds the experimental platform, determines the contents of the measurement, designs the methods of the measurement and researches the tools of the measurement and so on. It provides experimental figures for the special TCP/IP networks real-time communication.
