On Translation Criteria and Translation Models

In this paper,the author claims that applying one translation criterion to measure all translations is neither practical nor scientific,and that it will work in vain to solve all the translation problems depending on one or more fixed translation models.The translation criteria and the translation models should vary with the different source texts(ST),translated texts(TT),the style of ST,the translator and the TT readers.
