AN IMPROVED ALGORITHM FOR DECISION RULE GENERATION

In this paper,an improved dicision rule generation algorithm is proposed through combining neural network ensemble with C4.5 Rule.This algorithm regards neural network ensemble as the frontend processing of C4.5 Rule,which generates a data set for rule generation of C4.5 Rule.Experimental results on two data sets of UCI Machine Learning Repository show that this algorithm can generate decision rules with strong generalization ability.
