Studying on RDF's role in Knowledge Representation on the Semantic Web

On the base of current knowledge representation language RDF and the features of Web,this paper analyzes the phraseological foundation of RDF which RDF realizes syntax with XML,and how RDF describe resource objects to make metadata become understandable information for machine.Then it gives a new method of knowledge representation used in Web that can be the base of intelligent application field of Web,and demonstrates knowledge representation language based on RDF which can better realize knowledge representation on the Semantic Web.It is explained by applying an example of knowledge representation based on OWL to semantic search finally.
