The location-based QoS routing algorithm in ad hoc network

Zhou Jianxin · Journal of China Institute of Communications · 2003

On the basis of analyzing the problem of unicasting QoS routing in the ad hoc networks, a new distribute QoS routing algorithm,LMLAR(local multicasting location-aided routing) algorithm, has been proposed. The key idea of the proposed algorithm is to utilize the 搇ocal multicast?mechanism and the location information to select the route. The simulation shows that the LMLAR algorithm can acquire the higher routing success ratio and the lower message complexity than TBP algorithm. So the LMLAR algorithm is feasible to highly dynamic environments in the ad hoc network.
