Novel method of face detection in color images based on skin-color segmentation of combining canny operator

This thesis suggestsutilizing Canny operator distill the edge of the image.We utilize the edge information to divide the connective area naturally,while we use the method of color interpolation instead of tradition pyramid approach to match template automatically.The experimental results testify this method is effective in the images which contain complicated background,for example,interferential skin and the part of faces which covered.
