A Support Vector Machine-based Intrusion Detection Method for SCADA System

Aiming at the widely-used Modbus TCP / IP protocol in supervisory control and data acquisition( SCADA) system,a support vector machine( SVM)-based intrusion detection method for SCADA system was proposed to monitor and classify SCADA network traffic at real time. The simulation results show that this method can efficiently improve the system security without influencing the real-time of the SCADA system.
