Medical journal editors should pay attention to the problems of statistical description in abstracts

Through case analysis,this paper points out various problems of statistical description in the abstracts of medical journal papers. Editors of medical sci-tech journals should understand that authors should clearly present sampling or grouping method,statistical analysis method, and give the specific statistical quantities and P value in the abstract. Only by this way,can the papers comprehensively and objectively reflect the authors' scientific design and statistical analysis methods.
