Application of Laser Radar Technology in EHV Transmission Engineering

Laser radar technology is the most advanced earth observation system and a new means in the fields of photogrammetry and remote sensing,which enables quick access to the terrain,topographic data,and can penetrate vegetation cover to obtain vegetation height and cross-cutting height.Based on the principle of laser radar measurement technology,combined with the characteristics of EHV transmission project,a new program which applies aviation-D laser scanning and photogrammetry technology to the survey and design,and line maintenance on the patrol of EHV transmission line project is proposed.This program has characteristics of measurement of forest cover ground elevation areas and improving work efficiency and so on.
