Daizhen’s Achievements in Science of Historical Document

Daizhen, a master of textual research in Qing Dynasty, established the principles for textual research. He interpreted a great number of ancient texts, raised new theories about phonology and edited Annotations of The Water Sutra. Moreover, he sorted out many ancient books from Great Books And Records During Yongle Reign, compiled lots of local records and innovated new theories about local records.
