Hierarchical domain based application layer multicast topology construction method

After describing the current application layer group communication technology and analyzing the limitation in application layer topology construction,HD-ALMT(hierarchical domain based application layer multicast topology) is presented based on hierarchical domain argument,aimed at large scale real-time group communication requirement.Depending on the aggregated properties in IP address allocation and routing,HD-ALMT arranged neighboring hosts to different multicast sub-domains,and selected the center host of sub-domain as the domain agent,then constructed hierarchical multicast topology structure dynamically in inner-domain nodes and domain agents.Simulation results indicate this method has a good data forward path quality and flexibility.
