Analysis on sequence stratigraphy was very important in the academic study of stratigraphy and petroleum exploration. The principle used to grade different sequence boundary was the key to analyze sequence stratigraphy. Log data as the representations of lithology and physical properties embraced much information related to sedimentary cycles. For case study, logging curve from a well in Shengtuo Oilfield was processed by using the sensitivity of zero-crossing wavelet to the flex points of signals and the multi-scale analysis of the wavelet resolution. The sequence boundaries on different scales could be detected and it was in agreement with that obtained through the traditional method. All these researches provide a completely new method for the quantitative demarcation of sequence.
