On the generalized inverse of the morphism product

The generalized in verse of the morphism product 1d 2 is studied. Supposed 1 and 2 are monic and epic morphism respectively, the necessary and sufficien t conditions for the existence of the generalized inverse of 1d 2 are obtained by the Moore-Penrose inverse of d, and characterization of the ge neralized inverse is given. The results presneted in references are extended.
