An Analysis of Ding Wenjiang' s Thought on Science

As a contemporary well - known Chinese geologist, Ding Wenjiang has a unique understanding of science. In the controversy about illusion in 1923, Mr Ding stressed on the positive scientific approach of classification conclusion. That apart, he put forward the view of science is all-purpose and asked to use as a basic principle for judgment. Thus, his view is full of a sense of scientism. His interpretation on its development is still valuable to us at present.
