Network data flow statistics are an important part of network management,and data collection is the core of Network data flow statistics.In view of data flow control problem of current network management a data flow collection approach using SNMP is brought forward.Through SNMP Manager getting variant value from agent,we can get network data flow information of routers.In the paper we describe the principle of data flow collection process based on SNMP and implementation method.
