New object-oriented spatio-temporal data model

The key issue of temporal GIS(TGIS) is to design an appropriate data model that can illustrate and describe historical objects dynamically.Based on the object-orientated principle,everything in nature can be considered as object.Spatio-temporal object has life span and behavior and can communicate with others through corelations.Making use of heritage and template,we can create any compound spatio-temporal objects.This paper integrates object-orientated principle into TGIS data model,presents the implicit corelation method through which we can maintain the spatio-temporal topology,query the status of spatio-temporal objects at any time.
