Transformational Rules of "MeaningText" Grammar and Machine Translation

Transformational rules are one of the important concepts in contemporary linguistics. As the core of the Moscow Semantic School, the MeaningText grammar is a tool of encoding and decoding. The major function of the grammar is to perform transformation of synonymous meanings at each stratum. Its powerful transformational capability will be very useful in building transformational rules in treating Chinese lexicon and syntax. In the machine translation between Russian and Chinese, transformational rules at word and sentence levels and rules for the interaction between the two types of rules should be constructed.
