Operation Model and Performance Analysis Based on Threshold Priority

With frequent access to network from users,it is important to allocate reasonably the network resources and to reduce the channel burden.This paper analyzes threshold priority's operation and establishes a mathematic model with the theory of queue.And through computer simulation,it gets different threshold's effect to two kinds of cell average residence time and cell losing ratio.The computer simulation results show that threshold priority scheme is able to decrease high-priority cell losing ratio while allowing the low-priority cell losing ratio to be as low as possible if appropriate threshold is chosen.This is able to improve the quality of service for high-priority cell.
