Wavelet Analysis and its Application in the Processing of Vibration Signal

On the theoretical basis of wavelet analysis, the differences between wavelet transform and Fourier transform are given in detail. Wavelet analysis and its application in the processing of vibration signal are discussed, including filters, noise reduction, no-stationary signal, and machinery surveillance and fault diagnosis. At last, the advantages and shortcomings of wavelet transform are summarized.
