Formal Analysis of SET Protocol Authentication Mechanism

Mobile payment is an important part of the mobile e-commerce,but Security become a bottleneck in the development of mobile payment.So the security of e-commerce protocols to become the core of this problem.In order to solve the above problem,formalized analysis is conducted for the authentication between users and business,merchants and payment gateway in the SET protocol,using test theory of strand space model.The analysis results indicate that the payment gateway can be achieved certification for business,however,authentication between user and businesses does not meet security requirements which is easily attacked in the payment transaction process.
