Fluorescent log using conventional fluoroscope is the simplest and easiest method of identifying oil/gas reservoir.Taking fluoroscope as the main thread, the history of quantitative fluorescent log technology has been reviewed and the structure, function and application of quantitative fluoroscope in different development step have been mainly presented.It is pointed out that three-dimensional fluoroscope will be the essential instrument of quantitative fluorescent log, and the development trend and effortful direction of quantitative fluorescent log technology focus on strengthening the complex utilization of data, and developing the computer software for fluorescent log.
