Research on Key Problems in Design and Implementation of Self-healing Database System

Self-healing technique is of great value to improving the survivability of a post-intrusion database system.According to a series of key problems existing in the design and implementation of a self-healing database system,a complete solution is presented.The implemented prototype ITDM is based on the database management system DM 5.6 with an embedded framework,and supports the functionalities of intrusion detection,intrusion containment,damage assessment and dynamic repair.The result of performance experiments showes the storage and performance overhead of ITDM′s self-healing mechanism.
