Performance analysis of handoff in PCS system with hierarchical overlays

In this paper,the analytic model of handoff of a new PCS system,called register microcell PCS system with hierarchical overlays is described.The analytic result of the probability of forced termination is given.The soft handoff of the system is described then.As a result,the performance of handoff of the register microcell PCS system with hierarchical overlays is the best compared with general PCS system with hierarchical overlays and PCS system with single overlay.
