Study and Implementation of E1/Ethernet Interconnect Scheme based on FPGA

The connection of E1 link and Ethernet link is the foundation for telecom and Ethernet.And it is also of great value in realizing intercommunication between these two networks.An E1/Ethernet adapter based on FPGA is designed,and the objectives include frame transmission between HDLC and MAC,system synchronization,data buffering and flow control.The adapter is principally realized via FPGA programming,and the fast,flexible and easy manipulation is thus achieved.Furthermore,the application is satisfactory and effective.
