Analysis implementation of phases on development process based on orthogonal defect classification

To improve the quality of software and the capability of key process,firstly the concept of orthogonal defect classification(ODC) and how to associates defects with phases of the development process are introduced.Then,it evaluates the implement of phases that associated with specific defects via ODC.In additional,a method using history data of similar modules to improve inference on phases that principally associated with specific defects is proposed.It can focus on the problems at an early phase of software development.Finally an actual project is presented to show how to use ODC to analyze development process and determine which phase should be paid close attention.
