Evaluation of Communication Network′s Reliability Based on Modeling &Simulation Using Petri Nets

This paper puts emphasis on the applications of the modelingsimulation method based on Petri nets in the evaluation of communication network′s reliability.First it gives an overview of Petri net′s and communication nets reliability ,and then introduces the incremental modelingsimulation approach based on Petri nets.Finally it applies this approach to the evaluation of simplified communication network′s reliability,using different models,achieving the values of different indexes.The result shows that the approach is operable in the analysisevaluation of communication nets reliability.
