The congestion control is a most important protocol which improves the internet's stability and robustness. The current standard TCP congestion control mechanism and its actual problem are investigated. A new variant congestion control scheme comprehends COS-Slow-Start and A-AIMD are presented. Finally, NS2 simulation results show that it can significantly reduce both packet losses and traffic burstiness, and increase the bandwidth utilization ratio.
