Software quality metric is an important part of software engineering.Quantitative evaluation of software product is one of the most effective means of quality assurance. This paper presents a kind of software quality metric model and discusses it on the basis of standard evaluation process model. The paper also establishes quality characteristic, quality sub characteristic, metric characteristic, and gives their relations between them and their weights. Then,it uses formulas to express the metric methods and provides the application of the model. The paper provides a set of feasible and quantitative evaluation methods for software quality metric.
